“ Shortstop has always been a great place for a decent burger or chicken fingers. They are fast and friendly and delicious. I noticed they have catfish on Friday, it was Friday so I thought what the heck give it a try. That is something I have to do more of! The fries were hot and fresh and the catfish was the best I have had in Central Texas in years! The breading had a nice light flavor and the fish was really flavorful. Edit: That review was about the Round Rock location that is right next to Round Rock High School. That location has sadly closed. I have been to a few locations over the years and I can honestly say that they all have had the same excellent service and food. The good news is that there is another location that is very close to the Round Rock location. Just go north on I-35 to the hwy 79 exit and the Short Stop is on the right between the Dairy Queen and the Long John Silvers. ”
